Medical Director
Anjmun Sharma, M.D.
Dr. Sharma brings nearly two decades of clinical experience to New Hope Weight Loss. A graduate of Ross University School of Medicine with Family Medicine residency training at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, he has built a career spanning occupational medicine, family practice, urgent care, and medical leadership.
His professional background includes serving as Medical Review Officer at Abbott, Division Medical Director at Grifols Plasma Operations overseeing the Northwest Division, Associate Corporate Medical Director at BPL Plasma, and over 15 years as a Division Independent Medical Examiner for the State of Colorado. He also founded Monument Occupational Medicine & Venus Medispa in Colorado Springs.
Dr. Sharma holds certifications including Medical Review Officer (MRO), FAA Aviation Medical Examiner, USCIS Civil Surgeon, DOT Certified Medical Examiner, Level II Colorado Workers' Compensation accreditation, and BioTE hormone therapy. His extensive experience in occupational health, workplace wellness, and patient safety informs his methodical, evidence-based approach to weight management.
At New Hope Weight Loss, Dr. Sharma personally reviews every patient's medical history, evaluates contraindications, and determines the appropriate GLP-1 treatment protocol. He oversees dosage adjustments, monitors for side effects, and ensures every patient receives safe, individualized care.
